2 slices sourdough
1 tbsp Kewpieusa mayo
1 tsp diced chipotles in adobo
3 slices fontina cheese
1 small avocado, finely sliced
2 pats salted butter
a lil bit of garlic salt
Step By Step
The Build:
1️⃣ Spread mayo across one slice of bread, then layer on chipotles—smoky, slow heat. (Store-bought chipotle mayo works just fine.)
2️⃣ Add avocado, pressing gently into an even layer. Season lightly with salt to wake it up.
3️⃣ Lay down the cheese, then close with the second slice. Keep it simple. Let the ingredients speak.
The Cook:
4️⃣ Butter the exterior generously. Set into a cast iron or pan over medium-low heat—this is a slow, controlled melt.
5️⃣ Let it cook undisturbed for a few minutes per side. Flip when the crust turns golden and the cheese begins to relax.
