As we wave goodbye to summer, we also say goodbye to our refreshing vodka watermelons and minty fresh mojitos. In season now, like a chunky sweater, are bolder flavors and warmer aromas. We roll out our fall cocktails with Hail Mary’s Big Poppa that pays homage to hot cocoa-esque cocktail with spiced rum and chocolate notes to warm us up.
1 1/2 oz light spiced rum
1/2 oz Foro Amaro Liqueur
1/4 oz Cynar Liqueur
1/4 oz chocolate liqueur
1/2 oz whole egg
3 dashes chocolate bitters
cocoa powder, to garnish
SHAKE the ingredient above in a dry shaker without ice until emulsified.
SHAKE again with ice until chilled.
STRAIN into a coupe.
GARNISH with a light dust of cocoa powder.
