We know, we know. You’ve had a lot of Piña Coladas. But first of all, you can never have too many Piña Coladas, and second of all, you’ve never had ones like this. Brought to you by Hail Mary in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, this sort-of-upscale-but-totally-awesome diner is shaking up some truly amazing cocktails. What makes this Piña Colada so different from all the rest? It’s made with fresh ingredients plus one secret ingredient (which, yes, you can find out by reading the recipe below).
1 1/2 oz light rum
1/2 oz vanilla syrup
1 1/4 oz pineapple juice
3/4 oz coconut milk
1/4 oz Luxardo Maraschino liqueur
Pineapple wedge, to garnish
Cherry, to garnish
ADD all ingredients to a cocktail shaker with ice.
SHAKE cocktail shaker until well combined.
STRAIN over more crushed ice in glass.
GARNISH with pineapple wedge and a cherry.
