8 Wines that are Perfect for Valentine’s Day

Valentine’s Day, shmalentine’s day. I’ve never been a big fan of the holiday, but there are certain parts of it that I enjoy. Like the discounted chocolate on February 15 and copious amounts of wine it’s acceptable to drink on a weekday. So whether you’re drinking with your boo or watching rom-coms with your galentines, treat yourself to one of these romantic wine bottles this V-Day.

Moët & Chandon’s Imperial Rosé champagne is one of my favorites and this limited-edition bottle is absolutely perfect for Valentine’s Day. A gift box is also available, so no need to wrap it if you’re gifting the bottle to someone!

Maison Noir Love Drunk Rosé

I love the name of this wine, as well as the understated bottle design. With aromas of strawberry, raspberry, refreshing kiwi, watermelon and strawberry flavors, this rosé is the perfect way to warm up a winter night.

Finca Wolffer Rosé Wine

Wolffer is largely credited for America’s rosé wine resurgence, and they’re encouraging drinkers to embrace #SummerSomeplace with this fall rosé that is made with Argentine grapes. The unique bottle shape makes it a striking gift, and the wine itself has warm aromas of citrus, ripe berry, peach and sun-dried grass.

Anna Codorniu Rosé

Make a statement this Valentine’s Day with Cororniu’s perfectly pastel ombre bottle. With cherry, strawberry tones and fine bubbles, this wine is made from 70 percent Pinot Noir grapes for an elegant, subtle flavor.

Francis Coppola ‘Sofia’ Blanc de Blancs

This perfectly light wine has an “elegant, feminine flair.” Each bottle comes wrapped in pink cellophane, so it’s ready-to-gift. This Blanc de Blancs is fruity and refreshing, an unusual blend of Pinot Blanc, Muscat and Reisling, and has flavors of apple, pear, citrus and honeysuckle.

SAVED Wines Red Blend

There’s even more to this bottle than meets the eye. Designed by tattoo artist Scott Campbell, the design of this SAVED wine bottle is inspired by his wife. The bottle is coded with love messages as well as symbols for luck and happiness.

Perrier Jouet Rosé Belle Epoque Brut Champagne

This pale rosé has hints of orange, and aromas of currant, raspberry, pomegranate, blood orange and grapefruit. There are also notes of nuts, brioche, honey and caramel making it a lovely bottle for winter drinking. Did I mention the jaw-droppingly beautiful bottle?

Every holiday needs a little glitter, and Valentine’s Day is no exception. This Pinot has flavors of cherry, vanilla and cola, and pairs beautifully with cherry desserts, dried fruits and smoked salmon.
